STORM

Storm was a large-scale street theatre parade created by Vision Mechanics, bringing the streets of Dumfries to life with music, performance, and striking visual design. A central feature of the event was a giant, moving puppet that became the heart of the parade, captivating audiences as it wove through the town alongside performers and immersive artistic experiences. The event drew 10,000 people.
We supported the project with planning, community engagement, and event delivery. This included working with local communities, shaping participatory experiences, and coordinating with artists to ensure the parade ran smoothly. By helping bring the giant puppet and performance to life, we contributed to a memorable, high-impact celebration that united the town and showcased large-scale creativity.
