Sound Design for the University of Edinburgh’s Art‑Science Project
We were commissioned to create the sound design for Surface Echoes — a three year creative project led by ASCUS Art & Science and Eczema Outreach Support, with input from the University of Edinburgh and people living with eczema.
Our team designed an immersive audio experience , layering verbatim voices of people impacted by the condition with sound‑scape, spatial audio cues, and editing that enhances emotional clarity and resonance. The aim was to translate personal lived‑experience into sound in a way that educates, engages, and fosters empathy. The finished audio forms part of a downloadable resource, alongside a collage script and print materials.
